喜 March Happiness
1. On the first of the month I got to skype with my best friend, Jen. She's preggo & so adorable--it was an amazing way to start March. I also learned the name of her baby girl and it's all starting to feel real. She's going to be an incredible mom! <3
2. My friend Connor and I booked some amazing
travel plans to... INDIA!
I AM SO EXCITED. I can't contain it! We'll be there from April
2-7 & it's going to be fantastic. A quick trip, but while I'm
here in Asia, I have to travel while I can.
3. My Granny's 81st birthday was on March 7th. Everyone probably says this, but she is the cutest, sweetest, most kind-hearted woman ever. I feel so blessed to have her as a role model in my life and the center of our family. Love you, Granny!!
4. I was blessed enough to receive free tickets to both Art Basel HK AND Art Central and take a friend! It was amazing to spend hours wandering experiencing art from all over the world on a Sunday...for FREE!
5. St. Patrick's Day is a holiday I usually spend with my best friends every year, so I was a little bummed to be away from them. But this year I got to celebrate it with an actual Irish friend celebrating his birthday. We watched rugby at an Irish pub and it was fantastic.
6. US Daylight Saving Time - Spring Forward. This may not seems like a big deal, but for me communicating with friends and family in the US it means back to a 12 hour time difference again, not the weird 13 hour difference. Yay for easy time conversion!
7. Beautiful weather is upon us! Before the Hong Kong heat and humidity arrives, we're experiencing some amazing perfectly warm/cool breeze days and I'm a fan.
8. March has been full of surprises--in addition to being blessed with free tickets to the art shows, I also was blessed with free tickets to the Rugby Sevens! I otherwise wouldn't be able to go, and feel so lucky! I got 3 free tickets and was able to bless 2 others who were really excited to go too. It was so much fun!
9. Signed up for BikiniFit. God help me. All this delicious food in Hong Kong is really taking a toll on my physique, haha. So I went with a friend to a workout class she goes to every morning at 6:30 and it was SO intense, but I know it's what I need. Soooo I signed up. Whole body soreness coming my way April 20th. I'm sure I'll complain about that here later...
10. Easter surprise package from my Uncle Clay & Amy. They sent me Sweetart Jelly Beans (my fave!), water flavors and a cute card! Love my family.
