Hello! Welcome to my supporter page! I feel so blessed to be on this life-changing journey with International Care Ministries (ICM). I am working for ICM in the Hong Kong office as a Communications Manager - Senior Graphic Designer to help the poorest of the poor in the slums of the Philippines. My role as a designer will be promoting ICM’s mission by working on design projects like annual and donor reports, flyers, website content, invitations, brochures and more. I also assist the ICM Manila office and other ICM Base offices with their graphic requests. My favorite aspect of this role is that I have the opportunities to visit the Philippines a few times a year to see and support the impactful work ICM is doing there. ICM provides sustainable training and resources to families who need it the most, and I am ecstatic to be a part of their mission.
In the Bible, we see so many examples of kindness, selflessness and caring. I feel that knowing my heart, God has opened this door for me to really make a difference. After working in a fast-paced corporate environment, I’ve learned the importance of stopping to care for others. Philippians 2:4 says “Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others”. I truly believe that ICM’s mission is a perfect example of this.
In order to manage working full-time for ICM and living in Hong Kong, I need to raise $30,000 USD ($2,500 per month) for my first year. Thank you so much for considering supporting me. I am still in awe of God’s hand in my life and how He always manages to exceed my expectations. I am so grateful to have friends and family who support this mission, and I am looking forward to sharing all the amazing experiences I have putting others first.
